This reduces time taken to perform production testing, practically eliminates human error, and enables production workers to do testing that would otherwise have to be done by skilled engineers. PPC microprocessor system including custom-made SVGA graphics card, DRAM interface and stereo audio. Radio-controlled programmable timeswitch utilising the 60kHz MSF atomic clock time signal for absolute accuracy. Vehicle accelerometer for measuring acceleration, braking and cornering performance of vehicles for statistical analysis. Video colour frame-grabber for connection to computer parallel port, suitable for use with any CVBS video source, including security cameras. In-car engine monitor for Cosworth vehicles. This PIC-based unit is permanently installed in the enthusiast's car dashboard and provides graphical and numerical information about turbo-boost pressure, coolant & intake air temperature, battery voltage and throttle position. It also includes the facility to switch extra cooling systems at user-definable points.
